I feel like it'll be more of a "Life eroded my emotions, but I feel no sense of loss, nor do I miss it, I am as I am". The issue in the book comes from how everyone perceives him, and assumes him to be, thanks to the fact he can't phrase himself meaningfully, because sometimes he just doesn't know how, and despite that he is socially aware enough to try and not make himself standout for no reason, but thanks to how uncaring he seems, he gives people the wrong impression, aside from a few people, like Marie who still likes him for who he is.

Hong Lu purposely shut his emotions out cause he was afraid of being hurt again, Meursault is just kinda like that, maybe life didn't even grind him down that much, he is just naturally disposed to not giving a lot of emotion, and comes across as autistic.

I really like him, his attacks feels meaty, and the combos are cool.
