I need help understanding Lord Hong Lu's ID cause others are somewhat easier like one thing or another going astray, the further back causing the bigger divergences. With of course exceptional huge hiccups here and there like Gregor and Ishmael being changelings.
Thing is: this Hong Lu has clear nodes to Jia Qiu's design and some of his beliefs, but I don't think he mentioned him at all. In fact, it isn't like Hong Lu replaced him int he timeline like Faust for Kromer or something like that - the Uptie Story implied it followed the same chain of events until him watching H.Corp's massacre, where instead of apathy he developed hatred.
So, did I miss anything? Could someone explain what happened?

I was thinking: by LCE, 10 or so of the Sinners are still weaker than they were hired because the Golden Bough averaged them which placed them at a level close to Sinclair's. I say 10 because Yi Sang was the physically weakest so I assume he actually got boosted.
So while Sinclair and Yi Sang are actually getting stronger over the course of the adventure, this should mean all the other Sinners haven't even reached their original powerlevel after Canto VI.
Doesn't this make them all super powerful? Like, considering everyone we fought, at their heyday they should be above the level of the Cinq and Zwei sinners hired to rescue someone in La Manchaland. Those guys didn't seem like cannon fodder like the rest, in fact the corresponding IDs made them a big deal.

I think the issue is more so that dreariness came from the fact she was just did things most would expect from everyone, she fit right in as a feather, and could have maintained a job and a stable life if she kept ignoring the issue, she wanted to feel some sense of fulfilment of sense of belonging probably, doing something cause she enjoys it, and not just going through the motions, but the issue is that despite that feeling being there, she has no idea what is it that she wants to do with herself.
She could come to terms by exploring more of the world and maybe finding somethin she genuinely wants to do, or after seeing what the world has to offer, the feeling will go away, and she'll be able to settle down without that nagging feeling of dreariness.

My favourite strategy in this game for big fights is slotting 6/7 and using durante contempt awe on Ryoshu.
