It would be really funny if we get a rugpull and the cultivation theme is just smokescreen for more Hongyuan political FFA shenanigans. Xichun probably gets kidnapped as a political prisoner, chaos ensues, Limfamily wiggles its way to intervene, more setup for the next Canto and Wei dies. The whole ordeal gets her "cultivated" on what kind of bullshit you need to deal with as a Hierarch. Plus points if she is hinted to going towards Lord of Hongyuan Xichun route by the end.
