Yeah, I just think its funny that there's this reputation of Sony making these uber powerful consoles compared to Nintendo when really the two most popular Playstation consoles were bargain bin budget kings with the weakest cheapest hardware, but that also meant it was affordable for both consumers and publishers/developers. For the price of an N64 and one game you could probably walk out of the same store with a PS1 and a dozen decent games from the $5 bargain bin. It was truly a better time to be an idort, I miss when consoles all had unique benefits and libraries like that.

I just want the industry to collapse so we can be rid of this horrible cancerous AAA-AAAA industry and start again fresh without the hobby being constantly manipulated by billionaires for propaganda/profit. I want the hobby to die and get replaced by some hot new thing so it can organically regrow into something smaller that caters to a smaller more dedicated community with fewer but more passionate devs working in smaller but inspired teams.

I'm tired of the industry doing nothing but reboots, rehashes, scams and psyops. If they're gonna be so obsessed with reboots they should do us all a favour and go bankrupt already so we can reboot the whole ass industry without publishers
