Not only was it a (apparent) fanservice game targeting platforms increasingly hostile to such, but it was advertising itself as a literal Japanese chud game complete with WW2 alt history shenanigans where the Japanese ultranationalist gynoid overthrows the occupying Allied powers. It was obvious such a game was not going to be allowed to exist. Nothing can be allowed to challenge the WW2 myth, it is simply too foundational for the modern west and the ones controlling it. I suspect they got "the call" from a prominent individual telling them if they did not cease development, bad things would happen to them and their families.

Hinomaruko was a game I was REALLY looking forward to when it was announced. The aesthetics and premise were just pure catnip to me. And then it just dropped off the face of the earth. I strongly suspect some NGO or other ZOG-affiliated pressure group had it canceled for being too chuddy.
