The otaku market is mainly Japan centered. Japan is a rich and populous enough nation to support entire industries on its own. You only get rare instances like with Senran Kagura selling more in the West. This doesn't really matter though, as if they still want western money, the English pages could just advertise the Japanese releases that have English. In the case of having to ship units overseas themselves, that's extra costs which cuts into their profits. There's really no reason to make console ecchi games in that environment because you're losing too much money and the big thing is that they can't get any digital sales(plus the whole tariff issue atm). The average gacha retard can't even make a Japanese google play or itunes account and uses something like qooapp or apkpure to get their Japanese gachas, so telling people to make a JP account and buy JP eShop cards isn't really a viable solution(plus it makes the costs higher for the consumer which makes the f2p gachas more appealing).

Besides, Bunny Garden doesn't have a single loli or even flatty and Nintendo censored it the hardest of any game they've gone after so far. That's been my point. There is probably nothing that will get your game nuked from modern platforms faster than a "rubbing/touching" minigame. This would be true if Japan didn't like it that way. Japanese politicians have spent the last 60 years trying to convince the west to support their self defense force instead of their own standing army because it's free money. They don't need a big military budget when America pays for all of it. Plus America is a far stronger deterrent from China than they could ever manage to be themselves.
