Nate Silver is attempting to develop a more complete NFL player projection system (called ELWAY). It isn’t finished, but he has published the results of his historical QB rating analysis using his new QBERT scores.

According to his QBERT metrics, the best QB of all time is Steve Young followed by Montana at #2.
