Yudias was great. He was a cute friendly dork and while of course he was talented he grew a lot as a duelist through the series (initially he didn't even want to tribute summon because he felt it was like abandoning teammates). You might say Yudias is a bit too simple in how pure he generally is, but he performs that role well. Go Rush was also designed around dual protagonists (the writing staff said that they wanted both Yudias and Yuhi to feel like the main character) and Yuhi's development also landed quite well, his early self would have really struggled to hold a main character role since he was supposed to be wimpy and whiny to give him traits to grow past, but it also made some of the early Yuhi-focused sections pretty rough to watch.
Yuga was not really that good before Go Rush added to his character but he didn't really do anything terribly annoying in Sevens, his biggest issue there was just that because Yuga is not very competitive and his main goal of "make Rush Duel popular" was achieved fairly early on, he was super passive for most of the series so Luke who takes things way more seriously and Romin who has more ongoing development stand out more.
