I'm going to be devil's advocate here and say that there was really no other option.
They wanted a reference to the anime, but the entire thing is already references to existing card arts. This puts Konami in a tight spot because you can't exactly just redraw an existing artwork for a card and reuse it because it would visually get confusing.
So smiling Ecclesia is literally the only option they had from Ep1.
I do hate it though, half-body artworks for monsters suck cock, like imagine if Dark Magician's original art was set up like that.

Whilst Clear Wing Fast does mention Speedroids in its Pendulum Effect, I'm going by the general separation that everything else goes by.
The Speedroids facilitate the Clear Wing side but in general its pretty separate. Same goes for Predaplants facilitating the Starving Venoms/Venemys, and PK and the Dark Rebellion side.
When I say I want a Speedroid, I mean I want a Synchro Pendulum Hi-Speedroid. Same if I wanted a Dracoslayer Xyz, I wouldn't count Majespecter Draco - Ryu even through it says "Dracoslayer" in its text

Think of if like this. If you wanted to play Solemn Judgement, you'd have to pay Masquerade first and then you'd pay Mr. Johnson so the total LP loss would be 600+half of your remaining LP. Stealthbergia only blocks the cost for Solemn Judgement but he does nothing against Masquerade.

560 Duelists gathered in Vancouver, Canada to compete in this weekend’s YCS in a new metagame that is likely to be defined by the recent release of the Justice Hunters booster set.

Maliss, Fiendsmith, Ryzeal, and Mitsurugi cards have been dominating in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD for quite a while. In addition to those strategies, Orcust, Gem Knight, Vanquish Soul, and Onomat strategies made it into the Top 8 of the recent North America WCQ last month. But the release of Justice Hunters is likely to change everything.

The new K9, Yummy, and Dracotail themes from Justice Hunters have drastically different styles and strategies, but each one packs incredible power. K9 is a theme based around Level 5 monsters and Rank 5 Xyz Summons; Yummy is a theme built around low-Level Beasts and Synchro Summons; and Dracotail is a theme full of Spellcasters and Dragons that enable Fusion Summons. Duelists have been experimenting with ways to integrate these archetypes into Decks using other themes.

The end result of the new Justice Hunters cards entering the fray will inevitably be a reshaped metagame that is largely defined by these new strategies. Opinions about the best way to use the new strategies from Justice Hunters vary drastically among top Duelists, and many of this weekend’s attendees entered the YCS with the belief that the way they built their Deck is optimal. At the end of the weekend, however, only one Duelist can be crowned the champion of YCS Vancouver and take home the brand new Ultra Rare Anotherverse Stratios, the accompanying trophy, and lots of other great prizing.

Visas lore was unironically too ambitious for a TCG. The Valuable Book loredumps are required reading to understand a lot of the interesting parts (even then the Valuable Book struggles at establishing everything since it just doesn't have enough room to go into things like the backstories of the tribes or what Veda's motivation even is) and its rooted in a lot of religious and philosophical concepts.
The other lore series were way more simple in what they wanted to do. I think that for Visas to be fully appreciated by a general audience it does need something like a comprehensive lore book that outlines for people who didn't get it, or some waves of support that show Visas' New Game+ run that makes it more explicit. But without that people only remember it for being confusing.

I would say too ambitious for Konami and how they structure both their lore and game. Like if Visas lore was happening in MTG, the entire set would be revolving around it. Cards would be made exploring different aspects of each world, every card would take place within the planet and we'd get a feel for it. Flavour text would give us hints and details to the story and build up something like the invasion of Kashtira, and larger out-of-game stories would explore the world more deeply and introduce different characters to care about what's happening to them.
Meanwhile in Yugioh, you get maybe like 8 artworks per set maximum and that's about it. Good luck trying to piece together what is going on. Maybe you will get told what's going on in a bare-bones lorebook later you need to buy in Japanese for $40+ to tell you you are missing details they never conveyed.
I just don't think Konami can handle lore well because they lack the multimedia approach to it and the game in general. I would like to see Konami experiment with a Magic-like set where EVERYTHING is set in the same world. The generic staples, every archetype, every card, all in the same universe.

Scareclaw and Fear are associated with green so they're most likely the green planet.
Kashtira and anger are red/orange so they're probably the orange.
Black and purple planets are where things are a bit rougher to grasp. Tear is associated with blue due to water and purple due to Fusion so they probably are the purple planet, especially since purple seems to have some slight kaleidoscope-style distortion on it. But at the same time they might be the black planet since the planet does have some purple on it and it doesn't make sense for Mannadium to be the black planet unless the idea might be that after Prime-Heart defeats Astraloud that it resulted in the destruction and recreation of the galaxy, with Visas' inner world temporarily being rendered "Colorless" in the process.
Alternatively it could be that since Calarium is Visas' inner world, the central blue planet is meant to be Mannadium and the black planet is actually meant to reflect Veda.
