Centur-Ion's entire follow-up wave pissed me right off.
>Initial release was Primera, Trudea, Emeth and Legatia and basically just turboed King Calamity via Crimson Dragon because their entire readily accessible interaction was Legatia pop
>Adjacent support was Packbit, which uhhh doesn't really do anything for the core build-up and was just sort of a nice tool for a long-ass grind game
>LEDE gave us Gargoyle (which helped chainblock the 12s to stop getting Ashed), Auxila (which removed the Bystial flaw and added some extra grind game by giving you more resources) and Wake-Up, which didn't really make much sense in the grand scheme of things with the tools given. Didn't really give a reason why monsters were able to become Level 4 when both Synchros were 12
>INFO gave us Atrii, which was a card that was screaming at you to make a Level 8 that doesn't exist and required you to have an unsearchable archetype in GY as well
>ROTA FINALLY gave us Primera Primus which made so many previous pieces start making sense (Wake-Up milling Phalanx makes more sense with a Synchro Tuner, the focus on Level 4s now makes sense with a Level 8 and the Emblema callout makes more sense with a searcher) BUT they also gave us Chimerea which currently doesn't fit well anywhere in the deck
My biggest problem is that they clearly had this shit planned out but it was so delayed and scattered that the deck just sort of floundered until the new cards came. Cards were just doing shit for seemingly no reason until THE REASON came later.
