People have noticed that software has been becoming increasingly shitty for nearly a decade now and yet all major companies keep pushing that shitty software and there's no significant competitor other than the open-source community.
If not hiring/outsourcing to shitty jeetdevs and not publishing shitty software was economically viable, then a company would be doing it by now.
