Yeah I don't get it either, but a lot of (especially wealthier) boomers just see those in generations beneath them as competition for resources or to belittle to boost their ego.
The broccoli haircuts and saying "Deadass" all the time are odd but I definitely don't hate them at all. I feel bad that they were born into such a sterile and depraved time, at least I got to see the last few years of good times through middle school years before 2008 and constant social media became the norm.
