hey guys, my fiance finally bought her own car. we found a retired vet selling his 74k mile 2014 Toyota Camry for $8k. Apparently this dude had his 3rd DUI. He wastes his savings by going to his local towny bar everyday, gets plastered, and then drives home drunk + being nearly 80 he cant drive at all, so his wife made him sell his car for cheap.
this car has been dealer serviced recently, $2300 for new brakes and tires. there are a few small issues. besides never been cleaned, the touchscreen LCD isnt working, I found a fix for it but im wondering what else can I do to improve it. this is the first modern toyota ive deal with.
it has no GPS, is there a GPS version of the entertainment system available that I can fit in there? I dont specifically need it for GPS functions, its just nice to have a map on display, and maybe a better quality head unit.
2nd, im looking for remote start. my gf is really bad about getting the car started early, and she drives right off before letting it warm up at all. this irks me.
the rest of it is in great shape, dealer did all fluids, transmission recall, and 60k service.
so yeah, OEM headunit upgrade, and remote start, OEM if available.
