It's really straightforward, first Rune Factory 3, then Rune Factory 4 (special edition is recommended for RF4 because it takes away a single annoying aspect in the original)

Optional: RF Frontier is good if you use the runes mod, there's a solid game in there but the system bogs it down. RF Guardians of Azuma is a fun experimental spin-off, different from the usual Harvest Moon loop but worth playing.
