I have grown so cynical towards people and women in general that the whole premise of the game feels laughable to me. Feeling so attached to someone that their absence causes you misery so severe that you throw yourself into the pits of hell - it's a concept that escapes me. And Silent Hill 2 has moved me close to tears once.
