I have grown so cynical towards people and women in general that the whole premise of the game feels laughable to me. I have a similar feeling feeling but from the opposite perspective. My dad got sick and within two months he died, and I was relieved when he did rather than linger for years in a debilitated state. I know how fucked and selfish that is, and I've never admitted it to the rest of my family, but I don't think I'm the only one who feels it.
