The Democrat "base" is this weird collection of unrelated minorities who hate each other, but who hate white Americans more. Individually they lack the power to do anything, so they act collectively. Simultaneously, they have to shrink the White American population and balkanize it into as many little interest groups as possible.
This is why they hate hate hate Donald Trump so much because he's the first politician in 50 years to come along and actually start reversing this trend. For the last 50 years, minorities have strictly voted along racial and religious lines, while whites voted based on things like policy and whether they thought the candidate was competent. Well, now whites are starting to vote along strictly racial lines and this fucking terrifies them.
