And my counterpoint is you are only focusing on power upgrades and not seeing that you can skip all that and just buy a much better base car like when you made that Enjoy mode is like Gran Turismo point, people in Gran Turismo always prioritize buying new cars instead of dumping every last penny they have in their starter car.
With the progression restrictions removed I can just play like Gran Turismo. I can jump from 1 car to the next like I've just now in my current playthrough
Substitute the RX8 I was using for the 180SX and it would look like a playthrough of a Nissan fan, and now im here, still in stage 1 and I've got this cruise ship R33. A stage 3 car btw
And no, I haven't been a "turd" and grinded the same opponent
