All 3 records, Polaris, her dad, Swift Emperor, Snake Eyes and the Devil Z all have 4 unique bad names when you use their sticker and respective cars.
One of the titles you can get just using the combination, another you get after having 700+ total wins and using the combination.
Another you get from getting a win streak on one of those bosses while using the respective combination BEFORE having 700+ total wins.
The last BAD name you can get from them is by having a negative total win/loss ratio with the car/sticker combination, the easiest way to do this is at the very start of an NG+.

Finished the game (all rivals) last night, then fell asleep while rotating auras. I need to finish aura farming and advancing the calendar to 365 days while farming cash for the boss cars I'm interested in before NG+.

is the V10 really the best engine swap for any car? it seems to not only make cars fat as hell with full tuning levels but it's not much faster than a V6 engine swap despite how cheaper the latter is.

From what I've tested/seen, it's the demokit NSX, just narrowly beating out the other NSXs and the LFA/R35. That being said, it's a drag race star, the cornering on the NSX is abysmal. Weirdly the hatchbacks seem to be the best cars for turning, regardless of the drivetrain.

I myself noticed that I got Mr Perfect right after my win count crossed 400 in my no loss NG+ run
4 or 5 threads ago it was discovered that Special rivals that have 01, 02 and 03 names unlocked by Using the bosses car with their Emblem applied to the car PLUS your total win count. 03 names unlocked after passing 650 wins

The main mechanic is driving around a highway and challenging everyone until you get to defeat team leaders and then bosses while upgrading your car, sometimes buying a new car and upgrading that instead. If you've played Monster Hunter then it's Monster Hunter on wheels, the exact same gameplay loop.

It's a racing/fighting game hybrid there you fight racers in a tokyo highway. If you play NFSU2 outrun, it's that but more extensive. Many racers ends in a few seconds but boss fight will beat you if you don't out pace it or play dirty. Blocking, ramming them to the wall or other cars, or crashing them are viable options.

Its always night time (unless you mod) so if you're into driving around (or set your car on autodrive) and taking in the vibe, you might enjoy it.

mechanic is highway(not a straight line, except for wangan) impromptu racing, you find a rival and flash your highbeams at them and then race, not to a finish line but until one of your SP gauges is depleted, you deplete the opponents SP gauge by being more than 25meters ahead, with it draining faster the larger the gap, its like an outrun.

The best way I can describe this game is it's an autistic trap. You drive around, challenge racers, sometimes you get challenged by team bosses or consecutive races, you outrun them and you move onto the next one. You go back home, upgrade your car, buy new ones, unlock perks whatever, you go back out there and repeat.
It's a really simple formula but it's the kind of game that appeals to people that like that slow build up of strength.

the way the game's money and bp earning goes, if you play on enjoy you are gated by how expensive the upgrades are instead of how far you've progressed in the story. some anons here will cope and say you can "buy an lfa in chapter 1" but if you actually try to do that you'll find it's actually mathematically impossible.

if you want to play it like gran turismo pick enjoy
if you want classic txr autism pick challenge.
there is no penalty or bonus for picking either mode.

Kind of? It's the kind of game I'd recommend to someone that likes something like Mount & Blade or Kenshi, and they want to dip their toes into a car game. It's got enough detail to absorb them but the gameplay is dead simple enough to trap them.

They should've brought back the goal line races from ITC. It's a nice change of pace from the usual SP battles, and they also make you take routes you wouldn't usually take.

I would love if there was some late game wanderer or something, like the florist guy in his Super GT Supra, that would race you for an entire lap of the C1.

The problem with endgame is that engine swaps cost 3k BP to unlock, you'd have to ignore a lot of stuff to get it in an enjoy mode run, and in challenge mode you need to beat the stage 5 boss to get it (and still grind a fuck load). You don't need any of that to beat the tutorial stage, you can do every race in a stock AE86 and it'll manage it just fine. Which means you can rush some other car instead of wasting points and cash on buffing a car that anon wasn't even going to keep anyway. Likewise, whatever higher tier car you choose to rush in Enjoy mode can also manage the next stage just fine without upgrades, so why bother spending on that stuff when you could rush the car you want to use instead?

Baffling comment. The point of enjoy mode is that you can play however you want to squeeze more enjoyment out of the game. Maybe that's rushing engine swaps because you don't want to use the R35 for the umpteenth time. i play on enjoy mode and enjoy the game. challenge mode isn't really very challenging and the progression doesn't make a whole lot of sense, so i call it cuck mode, since all it does is cuck you out of fun. from my playthrough, it was obvious to me that if you play the game as generally intended you will never break the game, but if you go out of your way to minmax the anon who just went on a chapter 1 cheese and grindfest to try and prove me wrong, only to fail, is the anon who has problems with the way other people play games.
