I can still draw a chest I want to look at and admire without having any erotic attachment. I don't think my feelings are contradictory, as unusual as it may be. We like to paint and draw that which looks pleasant to us (with some obvious exceptions). Beautiful women, handsome men, and cute boys. And for people like myself boys are just our focus - I pay special attention to those details that other artists otherwise wouldn't when it comes to boys (the shape of the jaw, anatomical differences with age, chest sizes, etc.). I feel perfectly comfortable doing all this without any need to clarify my own sexuality or feelings on the matter as I recognize we have a history of admiring the aesthetic beauty of the boy, and it was only until very recently that it became hypersexualized.
