nothing will ever beat the absolute redundancy of the strength stat in SMT 4 for me. strength for those who don't know increases your basic bitch melee attack; and NOTHING ELSE. all the skills that deal physical damage instead scale with dexterity. the real kicker is that once you gain access to tokyo you gain access to guns, which also have a basic attack that scales with dexterity. guns also have the benefit of being able to swap ammunition for elemental or status effects. peircing skills also scale with dex. really no reason at all to use strength lmao.
