We must admit there is something snowpityful about Misty's abuse, as stated by pedoanon before, abuse is part of Misty's history, there is something certainly snowpityful about her helplessness, but in my very personal opinion, the appeal is in protectimg her from harm and abuse, and teach her love and apprrciation.
