Pretty based.
I'm very happy for Starlight and Trixie becoming better ponies and living their best lives in canon, they're inspirational mares to me and I don't want to change that one bit. But I do quite like unapologetically evil villains too, the idea of them staying as villains and taking over the world in an AU is a fun thought. Even a scenario with Twilight turning evil and transforming which is ironically very possible after all her friends die from old age, would've been a badass way to start g5.

Speaking of g5, I love Opaline more than even Chryssy. For all of its faults, Opaline was an amazing villain so much so I was rooting for her to successfully take over the world. It would have given the heroes a great arc trying to restore friendship in order to overthrow her, that is how I would have liked s1 in FiM to go: Luna is successful and Twilight has to make friends one by one in a season long arc. Such kino is too anime for the targeted demographic though.
