Season 2 gave us (counting Walpurg but not the battle pass):
-13 000 IDs (14 counting Molar Outis)
-9 00 ids (11 counting Boatworks Sinclair and Molar Sang)
-6 EGO (7 counting Ryoshu's Dispenser ID)
Actual content wise we had ONE Intervallo and Refraction Railway 2.
Season 8, as of now, has:
-14 Seasonal 000 ids (15 if you count Shi Faust, lmao)
-2 EGOs (6 if you count the collab egos)
These Ids are miles better than any in Season 2 (besides the aforementioned lmao) and if you'd believe it by the code of Season 8 having an Intervallo that isn't dogshit and the Bokgaks, has more actual content than Season 2.
Canto 4's story being better than Canto 8's cause of the ending doesn't mean the accompanying season is actually good, especially when the production value of Season 6 is miles ahead of anything in Season 2 and we literally have more content than Season 2 when it comes to events.
Ignoring all that, Season 6 is automatically better because it doesn't have Refraction Railway 2 which is hot abysmal dogshit.
The only reason you are trying to say season 2 is better is to shit fling, though, so this post is certainly worthless, but eh.
