Season 2 gave us (counting Walpurg but not the battle pass):
-13 000 IDs (14 counting Molar Outis)
-9 00 ids (11 counting Boatworks Sinclair and Molar Sang)
-6 EGO (7 counting Ryoshu's Dispenser ID)

Actual content wise we had ONE Intervallo and Refraction Railway 2.

Season 8, as of now, has:
-14 Seasonal 000 ids (15 if you count Shi Faust, lmao)
-2 EGOs (6 if you count the collab egos)
These Ids are miles better than any in Season 2 (besides the aforementioned lmao) and if you'd believe it by the code of Season 8 having an Intervallo that isn't dogshit and the Bokgaks, has more actual content than Season 2.
Canto 4's story being better than Canto 8's cause of the ending doesn't mean the accompanying season is actually good, especially when the production value of Season 6 is miles ahead of anything in Season 2 and we literally have more content than Season 2 when it comes to events.

Ignoring all that, Season 6 is automatically better because it doesn't have Refraction Railway 2 which is hot abysmal dogshit.

The only reason you are trying to say season 2 is better is to shit fling, though, so this post is certainly worthless, but eh.

(Personally, Lei Heng, Jia Qiu, SWEEP, and the Clown Brigade are way better than every Abno I listed as boss fights, and they manage that without being slogs like Steam Transport Machine.)

So I’m still playing Ruina and got somewhat spoiled but it’s fine I knew what Iw as getting at by keeping tabs here anyway and it wasn’t much. I just want to confirm some things:

We later learn that inhumane experiments are normal in The City and PM clarified in the Adam ending The Head would have wiped all the Distortions in 1 week tops anyway so neither of those things were an issue. Furthermore Michelle killed herself out of guilt so she wasn’t included in the purge unlike the Kong massacre that Binah Garion had to kill even the snitch for knowledge of the formula. So whatever Hod knew was unimportant. The reason really had to be something else.
>early in Ruina it’s repeatedly reiterated humanoid machines or sentient machines are a huge taboo and Roland notes Angela’s retelling of the experiments done there couldn’t have been the reason The Head bothered to massacre everyone. Due to that I assumed the reason was Angela herself with Lobotomy building a sentient humanoid robot. There is a hiccup in the placement of the timeline but just researching and imagining a taboo gets you Claw’d. This still didn’t make sense as while Library of Ruina has essentially been proving how dangerous Angela is with the Library quickly rising in ranks of danger and booking a ton of people, the people themselves don’t care much for meeting a robot. Nobody acts with the same surprise or fear like Yi Sang did seeing a bullet penetrate multiple walls and the knowledge was widespread enough that Myo shared to Molar office. The Head likely knew of this and didn’t act on it.
So it gets to the spoiler, a screenshot of Zena claiming it actually was the Seeds of the Mind and how it altered the status quo in the entire City - this is what the Head actually feared and took action against but here is the thing: they couldn’t h

If it was all-knowing of the future, it’d have tracked Ayin down even after he learned how to dodge their eyes via Binah’s brain. Hell, they’d have known sending Binah was a bad idea because it’d give A all the necessary knowledge on how to fulfill his plan.
But at the same time if they don’t have a clairvoyant they wouldn’t be able to get the big picture and Hod would have been ignored because the Head couldn’t care less about some inhumane experiments out there. They likely wouldn’t care much for a robot either.

I've been leaving the XP ticket grind for either the event rewards or the occasional extra Lux using those 3 extra modules from the refresh

If you're new IMO you should be doing 1 exp lux, 3 manual, non skip thread luxes and use the rest of your modules on MD. Also refresh twice. You'll still be lunacy positive and you'll get a fuckton of shards this way. You'll be able to shard 1 ID weekly or so if you do this, which is more or less what you'll want to do once you have 1 good team, so you can focus on building good teams of each keyword.

I also got an almost complete Burn team, I'm just waiting for the events to give me extra resources and for Walpurgis to make it officially full.

I tried grinding MD for a while, but it got boring extremely fast. I feel like I can just get my egoshards slowly but surely with the occasional MD and Walp pulls. Or should I just power through and do daily MD runs?

Up to what turn though? By the time I reach turn 4 they're all pretty much dead, or Ryoshu got staggered cause she's frail as fuck to their attacks, and both of them have extra slots. Doing it before 7 torn just makes the second hit deal 0 damage too.
