Oddly enough, older games had some semi-furry characters in them as well and no one really cared. Games got a minotaur, unicorn, Tigress, and a Falconess as playable characters and all of them are stronger then the base ones due to being secret characters. Though the graphics leave a lot to the imagination since this was an early 2000s game...

A new Gauntlet would be cool, but the arcadey n64/ps2 styles of the game. Not that crap they have on steam.

New Gauntlet game in development
>Based on the Dark Legacy game
>All classes from Dark Legacy are in game including news ones such as
>thief, ninja, mechanic, summoner and more
>Classes can spin off into new classes like the Wizard becoming a necromancer or the Jester becoming a Bard
>Leveling is simple like the original but now there are skills to build your characters with cooldowns, and there's no loot
>Game still has arcade style design with secret special stages where you can unlock new characters and weapons
>there are 10 worlds in the game with different themes, like Amazon world with Aztec ruins and catman monsters, a Hindu themed world with ancient spaceships and nagas and a gothic themed world with steampunk plague doctors, rat monsters and plague zombies
>Each world has multiple bosses including a big one at the end
>Will be shown off later this year at Gamescom, coming out early next year
>And most importantly, every time you level up, pick a character, unlock something or die, a big booming voice announces it.
