It's funny how Kamiya wanted to make a Star Fox game but never got the chance to because he knows Miyamoto would be a complete pain in the ass to work with. But instead, he made Wonder Red and Wonder Blue quite literally Fox and Falco respectively. Even down to the part where Wonder Red may as well have the same backstory as Fox, with his dad being cut down in his prime.
