I kept seeing a quote attributed to Yitzhak Gruenbaum pop up where he says some equivalent to "No, and I say again no! Not one cow in Palestine for 10,000 Jews in Germany!" in regard to rescuing Jews if it meant they wouldn't come to Palestine.
One source, PalCit, actually had a reference, and it was to Gruenbaum's own 1946 memoir,

So I got the memoir and scanned it (pic related), and the result is interesting.
Basically from what I can tell, the "No, and I say again no!" part of the quote is true, but the no cow for 10,000 Jews part is false, although it accurately reflect his sentiments as he goes on a diatribe about how Zionism comes before the lives of Jews in Europe and what not. It's kinda like how Andrew Jackson never said, "You are a den of vipers and thieves," but it reflected how he did hate bankers.
