I wanted to play a bonafide RPG session but even IRL I tend to prefer "I roll for diplomacy" builds (trying to bullshit my way out) so the stats and rolls became of secondary importance. It is kinda a pain in the ass to tell the GM to recalculate properly every few rounds anyway.

I still use the adaptationanon's GM character and lorebooks because they add more 40k context and I like the narrative style mimicking a GM.

My current campaign is a fallen sister that got a kidnapped by a slaaneshi cult and grafted a dick on her and forced her to rape other girls. Now she's trying to come into terms with herself and founding an underground heretical church that combines the imperial creed and slaaneshi teaching but nothing too heretical besides fucking.
