I've only ever seen slopbots use Myers-Briggs or character temperaments (sanguine/choleric) in personality defs, I'm quite certain it is placebo.
In general, you shouldn't even fill the "Personality summary" or "Scenario" extra definitions, their effectiveness depends massively on how your preset implements them and can derail from your main defs. A well written definition and example dialogue is enough, especially the example dialogue.

It's done the same way you get past filters with any other of the official webuis, you give it a good prompt! Front-ends like SillyTavern and API gives you better control over the prompt, it's order/positioning and API (AFAIK) doesn't come with the webui's own prompt that guides it for much "safer" Responses.. No idea what you're saying here, but API with proper prompt can easily do any smut, certain models might be better and continuity might be questionable depending on how niche or complex it is.

That will be a lot of work. Because of the AI's positivity bias it will be hard to have it actually be true to the "Dice rolls". With a SillyTavern you can use {{random::X::Y::Z}} or {{roll:1d20}} macro's to make it more true to a dice roll, but forcing it to use the numbers you generate. But this requires you feed it instructions for this and reinforce it with a high priority prompt to use those rolls for outcomes, but you'll need find a way to make this prompt as dynamic as possible, or prepare to edit it often to suit the different scenarios and conflicts that happens..

Although this is very old now, Not sure if a new or better preset has been made. But I think characterProviders CYOA prompt is a good start to test the waters and see how you like CYOA format.. Then based on that you can modify it to be more DND like and use rolls via macros.

I don't exactly ERP, but I have been writing some personal smut with LLM's for a while. Perfectly reasonable. I include the rules because why not? Maybe someday soon the AI capabilities will be good enough to follow the rules to a T. So far it does a decent job at pretending all is going smoothly. You can always disable the rules, mechanics, scenarios. I've made the lorebooks to be as modular as possible. I'm releasing FATE and DCC soon for anyone who prefers pure storytelling or pure old school roleplaying. GURPS too (featuring my first ever homebrew: Shadow & Claw adventure adaptation). As you can see in the pic, you can use any adventure with other systems as long as you load the proper lorebooks. FATE is really good with AI GM because it relies on improvisation so much, you assign your own attributes and skills, and gain boons for roleplaying your flaws.
I'm glad you can run things locally and have fun still. I've made this with Gemini in mind because of the immense context size while my PC could only handle 13B tops. Fortunately, you can always choose what to keep and what to disable in lorebooks. Cheers!

For me the ozone and metallic smell is for places, while all the interesting "aromas" are for characters. You CAN nudge the AI to be more descriptive by directing it to associate the smells and scents with the character's personality, but that has other problems such as a character who's a prettyboy that works as a mechanic always smelling like grease and diesel. If it comes down to it you can elaborate on the preferred soaps and perfumes the character wears and the AI can kinda do a good job with it.
