Naughty Dog has been a ticking time bomb for like a decade, they've had massive talent drain over the years due to terrible working conditions and with TLOU2 their reputation was so bad that they had to hire literal cgi movie artists (not beating the allegations lol) because talented game animators literally avoid them. To put stuff into perspective Insomniac is another Sony owned California studio and they will have put out 4 AAA games between TLOU2 and Intergalactic

Neil Druckmann seems to think they're a Rockstar tier studio where they can just bruteforce their way through management problems and bloat because people will just throw money at them, and maybe that was true in like the TLOU1 era but I expect heavy downsizing and restructuring after Intergalactic when Sony realizes they're not a golden goose anymore. Neil Druckmann is gonna get a golden parachute of course and will probably just move on to movies/tv shows period
