It's alright as far as I'm concerned, I didn't much like the second game. It lacked what made the first game so unforgettable and moving. I also think the reflector designs were awful and it also lacked the sense of intent and purposefulness that the first game had. Like, the entire first game was about Hinako's journey to learn how to cope with loss and to find a reason to keep on living, and every artistic aspect of the game revolved around that idea; To reconnect her with a world that she has long since disconnected from.

If Gust ever returns to this series I'd like it to have at max three protagonists, like Hinako, Yuzu and Lime. Second Light felt like it was trying to juggle a lot of different tones and character moments, while Blue Reflection feels like one long, melancholic note. Quiet, maybe clumsy in parts, but focused and consistent in what it’s trying to say.
