I believe your point has more to do with generational differences within our culture rather than commentary on specific modding communities, but this ain't the place for that discussion :^)
For now I'll just say that good project leads are rare anywhere. Maybe being a good modder and being a good leader of people don't have much overlap. Whodathunk?
