And further to the original point, we may not be John Halo, but neither are the odst or the unsc marines, yet they carry all their gear, including rocket reloads, without dedicated backpacks for them too. Hell, they often don't have any backpack at all!

They're videogames friend, fun is (Should be) the priority, not realism. That kind of thinking led almost killing the game and the 60 day patch. Lets not have that kind of gamble again, shall we?
