I think that party optimization in JRPGs is usually gay anyways because those games usually aren't difficult enough to justify doing it. Like lmao optimizing your party in Persona, as if those games aren't all piss easy, it's like spending your time optimizing your teams in pic. You can do it, but I don't know why you'd bother.
