I know how you feel; I had such a ridiculously dogshit Creek run the other night that I wanted to quit
But you know? Then I woke up in the morning and had the best one I've ever had
No point stressing out over it. It's 30% skill and preparation, 70% luck. Play with the cards you're dealt. Maybe you'll win. Maybe you won't. You'll miss out on, what, maybe a few singles worth of carats? It's alright.
The good runs will come. Maybe not this CM, but another one. Go into it saying 'I did the best I could, whatever happens happens'. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised. Investment and wanting to do your best to prepare is good. Just curb it back once it starts negatively hitting your mental.
