As someone whose loved Noh Mask since the early days of the manga, the recent developments have been extremely disappointing. Ironically I think I'd have preferred Ishida went the Furuta route rather than turning him into a pitiful puppet of the Nue.
There are still other characters I enjoy and look forward to but I'd be lying if I said this didn't considerably harm my enjoyment of the story.
