But more specifically, I thought they'd put him in Wonder for brand synergy with the movie, mostly because DK gets a fire form. Hell even in Bananza he's got an elephant form after Wonder had it too.
My personal never ever wish is a 3D platformer where they just drop Odyssey Mario and Bananza DK into a co-op game.
