I placed a mobile order at 8:40 and went for a walk to pick it up. On the way I took a call from a friend so I stood around loitering in the parking lot before going in at about 9:05, but the front door was locked and I realized they closed the lobby. I got a wagie’s attention through the window and held out my phone indicating my mobile order, then pointed to the bag on their counter. He speaks with his manager for 3 minutes before the manager indicates I should drive through the drivethru to pick it up. I motion that I walked, and she just shrugged. I walk up to the drivethru and the wagie on the intercom says “Sorry we don’t take walk ups” so I reply “Yeah, sorry, I know, look your manager indicated that I needed to go through here for my food but I didn’t bring my car, you have it on your counter, can I just meet someone at the door or walk to the window?” Mind you the place is dead and there hasn’t been a car in the last 20 minutes of me pacing around. Anyway, I wait 3 minutes assuming the wagie is discussing with their manager, but eventually I realized the fluoride must have been hitting hard as he never got back to me, didn’t even bother with a “sorry but no.” Anyway, I called their store to cancel and they said the money would appear in my account within a week. It never did. I now eat at Wendy’s.
