With AI-driven animation rapidly improving, it is only a matter of time before more anime companies start dropping discount Korean studios and outsourcing a lot of the workload to computers.
I get that not everyone loves AI art, but I think it's overall a good thing for animation in anime. There's been a growing trend of laziness over the past 10 years, some directors even take pride in lazy animation (Imaishi). AI animation will, if nothing else, make character movement a lot smoother.
