Here's my OC, Kendall. She's a 19 year old homeless girl that lives in Unova.

>Many years ago, Kendall wasn't homeless, she lived in a nice house with her parents. When she started her Pokemon journey, the lab ran out of starter Pokemon, so the Professor gave her a few poke balls to catch wild Pokemon. She caught a Patrat and a Purrloin, but failed to beat the first gym.

>But after that, tragedy struck. When she was home, Team Plasma grunts broke into her house and killed her parents, before destroying her house completely. Fearing for her life, she ran away. She felt guilty at the time that she was too much of a coward to help her parents, but there were too many grunts at her house. To this day, she doesn't understand why they did it. This incident has traumatized her to this day.

>Now with no family and no home to go back to, she became a homeless wanderer. No longer able to afford the resources needed, she gave up on official battling and instead started participating in illegal underground battles with fellow street trash that had nothing but their Pokemon, just like her. She didn't do very well, even though everyone she fought in that low-budget trash circuit also had weak Pokemon.

>One day, when Kendall was wandering, she saw a luxurious cruise ship about to leave for another region. Without anyone noticing she snuck aboard, and his so no one would find her.

>The cruise ship was headed to Paldea, and no one knew she was stowing away on board. Kendall thought she could get a fresh start here, but since she had no money, she couldn't do anything. It seemed that nothing would change and she would be broke and homeless no matter what.

>Frustrated, she threw away her last poke ball, thinking it was useless, but the poke ball hit a wild Charcadet on the head, catching it. Kendall was surprised, and not wanting to waste this crazy stroke of luck, she began to train with Charcadet and her other Pokemon every day for weeks, bonding with them.
