Really think so? The closest we got to a gay option was in TWD season 3. Where Javi only had an option to flirt with Paul Monroe before he left. Leaving Javi in that terribly forced loved triangle between Kate and David. Beside that never have we got a Telltale game with a gay romance. You had that lesbian romance in TWD season 4 but female characters are often given a pass when it comes to gay stuff.

You're more hopefull than I am. Cause in no Telltale game thus far have we had one. At most in season 3 of TWD, Javi could flirt with Jesus before he parts way and that's it. I also think they'd still be wary of people complaining you could pursue a m/m romance. Look what happened with KCD2 and the meltdown it caused. Though I am thankful it was there and arguably it is one of the best gay romances I've seen in a game.

So long there isn't a forced love triangle like in season 3 of TWD, I'll settle for it. Plus letting us be able to just be friends should we choose.
