I'm sad Game of Thrones crashed and burned the way it did. I feel like they could have told a really interesting story in the Asoiaf setting, but I think spreading itself thin among so many plot lines and the need to hit a quota on HBO fanservice put a wrench in everything from the start.

Really think so? The closest we got to a gay option was in TWD season 3. Where Javi only had an option to flirt with Paul Monroe before he left. Leaving Javi in that terribly forced loved triangle between Kate and David. Beside that never have we got a Telltale game with a gay romance. You had that lesbian romance in TWD season 4 but female characters are often given a pass when it comes to gay stuff.

My guess is probably that she is actually a nice girl but got abused or taken advantage of by a boyfriend. Say something like she had a superhero boyfriend who convinced her to help him invisibly to make him seem more capable, eventually their relationship became toxic and after the break up she wanted to become the exact opposite of how she normally is. So she went from a good person with shyness and a power that feeds into that too much to a ultra-bitch who doesnt care and is tough.

Or its a daddy issue.

Wrong. Silver age was the 50s and ended at the 70s. Her shoulders and high cut leotard is more 80s to 90s era. The bright primary colors suggest more of a DC asethetic. A sort of pre-Dyke Ms Marvel and Star Girl.

That's all I want. I don't even want a story, just give us a sandbox in a decently large city with a suburb. Look at something like Noita or Kenshi or Elin. Maybe it wouldn't have widespread appeal but if the power + crafting options were large enough you don't need a shitty story to be engaged. You'll make your own autistic story in your head. Allow different ages in the character creator for further roleplay. An rpg point system to mix and match powers, stats and skills. Meaning that you can play a batman type character that doesn't have superpowers but has enough gadgets and crafting ability to be effective. Other heroes get generated at launch to populate the world. You can be a villain, a hero working with the cops or a vigilante. If you have no powers you can find out about crimes through a police scanner or future crimes through investigating, or if you have super hearing you can be alerted of crimes as they happen and can respond quicker. There's so much shit you could do with this concept.

You'd think after a decade plus of capeshit would have reignited interest in making original superhero games and movies. It was a short lived era in the late 2000's. Protoype, Infamous, Jumper, Push

>In an injured hero gets hurt again, they'll become downed
Genuinely who wrote this? This doesn't tell you anything about what the Downed condition does, only how a hero gets said condition.

This was my reaction too.
I hope someone makes a mod to remove it.

Visuals are really great but the demo was very, very boring and annoying. The actual "gameplay" is nothing.

This. I guess it's too time consuming to make.
My only hope is that maybe a sufficiently advanced AI in the future is capable enough to let devs make a world and then the AI populates the rest with dynamic dialogues. Maybe that's a necessary step to nudge devs to create something like this.
