Yeah I thought it was pretty fucking good. There's a lot the Remake did better than the original and people just absolutely refuse that statement. Remake also mixed the level design up a lot to the point of almost being a new game, so you cant bitch about it being the same game.

The sound design, the gunfeel, and the gore are just levels ahead of the original. The game is so much more visceral and intense then the OG.
