You are right in a way. They failed to learn what made Firefly so popular

Firefly released in 2.3, however, she was a big part of the story since 2.0, hell, like 80% of 2.0 is dedicated to making the player like her, 2.1 made the big reveal that she was actually a really important character to the star rail world (and to TB before the memory wipe) and 2.2 and 2.3 were dedicated to (You)baiting her to hell and back
THAT is why she sold so well. zzz 2.1 was fine. But it really fucked the pacing of the exaltist story (even though they tried to link the stories together using Yuzuha's past)
