Massive update. Just got back from a bicycle trip starting near Paris and ending near Madrid, collecting Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia in Spain and every single district of Portugal along the way. Picked up Poitou-Charentes, the last old region of France that I needed as well. About 3600 kilometers of cycling.
The Iberian peninsula is now complete, as is Western Europe as a whole.
I'm kind of starting to run out of European subdivisions to collect, which is somewhat worrisome.

Back from my Iberia trip. Took just over a month. Excellent weather during the first two weeks, then frequently unsettled. The gains have been added to my magnum opus... aka the first-level administrative subdivion map. Iberia is now complete. It was virtually empty at the beginning of the year. I also picked up Poitou-Charentes, the last old region of France I needed to collect.
