It runs in the web version of CoroCoro and literally has multiple jokes where it makes fun of the fact that there are probably some guys in their 20s reading this manga that runs in the online version of a kid's magazine.
It's not exactly something I'd say is for little 6-8 year olds, more like 9-12, right around that age where kids start losing interest in super kiddie shows and right before they move into the more "grown up" stuff aimed at teens.
