This is the bigger problem, you can make your characters non-gacha and accessible, but if they're still designed like shit I'm not gonna care. If you switch off the gacha model, ideally all the characters should be redesigned along with it, since they aren't constrained by needing to appeal to reach banner quotas anymore.
