Haru's a good pick, even if you take out the money factor (though not having to worry about it would help things for sure)
I think the trouble with questions like this is that you have to ask "what does the self-insert protagonist want for the future" because beside the obvious "well what do YOU (the self-inserter) want" we have to rely on the scant and basic motivations of the main character
