Honestly if there was an option that was like 2x the amount of maximum years in prison but you have to do community service and if you miss a certain amount of hours per month you get sent to jail I wouldnt be against it. You cant really enjoy life since 50% of your day is work 40% service than 10% free time but it might be better than rotting in prison. Obviously shes a total piece of shit for driving drunk/drugged out of her mind but she clearly didnt intend to murder anyone. But she still needs to be punished for failing as a human being knowing this result was a possibility. I just dont think prison fixes the issue. Obv if I was the brother/son of the dead person I'd want them to suffer the max. But I feel like there should be this option
